Queens
Queens is the easternmost and largest in area of the five boroughs of New York City, geographically adjacent to the borough of Brooklyn at the western end of Long Island. The borough of Queens is the second-largest in population (behind Brooklyn), with approximately 2.3 million residents in 2013.
Queens is not as "bike friendly" as Brooklyn however there is a great parks greenway that takes you along Little Neck Bay to Alley Pond Park along the old Vanderbilt speedway to Cunningham Park to Kissena Park and ultimately to Flushing Meadows Park, which was the site of the legendary 1964 Worlds Fair. Within the park is the Billy Jean King Tennis Center (US Open) and just outside Citifield. home of the NY Mets.
