Discovering the Other New York

Brooklyn is the most populous of New York City's five boroughs, with about 2.6 million people. It is geographically adjacent to the borough of Queens at the western end of Long Island.  If Brooklyn were not part of NY it would be considered the 4th largest city in the country. Brooklyn simply has the greatest urban cycling in the country. A waterfront greenway that is almost complete. Coney Island, Ocean Parkway, Brooklyn Heights, DUMBO, Brooklyn Bridge Park and Prospect Park along with many on road bike lanes.

My father was born in Brooklyn and much of my family lived there including my Grandfather, Great Great Grandfather and my Great Great Uncles and their children. I've cycled to many of those locations on "Genealogical Expeditions". Please see the link to my special "Tague Brooklyn Genealogical" page.
